Calm Reflection

I couldn't decide whether to put this under Animals or Landscapes... since it's mostly landscapes, I'll stick it in here.

I found this in my computer yesterday and wondered why I haven't submitted this one, I guess I forgot...

This painting was done last year (last Jan in fact), it was my first time painting on canvas, and I liked it. It's done entirely in acrylic (couldn't afford oils then), for my final ISU project for art class. I tried countless times to get a good photo, but the lighting and angles killed the colours T_T for this one I took 2 photos and pieced them together, but it still came out darker than the actual painting.

I knew I wanted to do a tiger, but the background took me forever to decide. At first I wanted to do just a gradient solid colour, but found it too boring, and added a landscape instead.
