Gundam: My Mask is Cooler

The masked blond character is a staple of Gundams. These are the 5 from Gundam series that I've seen:

Char Aznable: the original, from Mobile Suit Gundam and its sequels
Zechs Marquis: from Gundam Wing
Neo Lorrnoke: from Gundam SEED Destiny (Density)
Rau le Creuset: from Gundam SEED.
Mister Bushido: from Gundam 00

I've had this idea in my head for quite a while now. Those labels next to them are all in good jest, no offense intended, but they do have issues. Took me quite a while to figure ones for Zechs and Char though, since I haven't really finished watching Wing or Gundam, so I don't know them really well.

The coolest mask award goes to... Rau le Creuset. It's actually a mask, and not a helmet thingy. It's unobstructive, and look at those awesome green glass eyeholes!

The most ugly mask award goes to... hmm, it's a tough one between Zechs and Neo (which is a shame, since I love their voice...), but I'll have to go with Neo. Not only is it ugly, it's a pain to draw. And it's even uglier with his stupid-looking hair.

The coolest uniform... I have to say Char's actually. Even though it's a pain to draw. He gets the award for coolest hair too ('cause I hate long hair on guys, esp Zechs', where it's all flat at the back)

That just leaves Zechs without an award. Um, he gets... the best colour combination. (I'd say the coolest voice, but then it'd be a tie with Neo)

Fave masked (maniac) character for me... Rau. 'Cause he's cool, and crazy. Char is cool too, but like I said, haven't seen enough of him to judge. Zechs rather annoys me. And Neo... well ~Mirinee knows how I feel about Neo (and it's her fault too) >_<

btw "Ore wa Neo Lorrnoke ta-i-sa" = "I'm Captain/Colonel Neo Lorrnoke", it's what he says when ppl accuse him of being a Lt. Commander (Mwu). That's my fave quote of him, due to some kenkoudaa flash animations.

[Edit] Nov 30, 2008: Added the latest Gundam masked character, from Gundam 00, Graha- I mean, Mister (Mi-suta-) Bushido. He officially has the ugliest mask, and the worst fashion sense!! Sorry Neo, I have to take your award away and give it to Mister Bushido here XD.

Okay, technically the quote for him was before he put on the mask, but it was waaayyy too good to pass up XD It sums him up perfectly [well, actually there was a few that sums him up, like "My heart was stolen by you", or "I wanted to see you, Gundam!", or "a man who's obsessed with everything you are". Oh Gra- I mean Mr. Bushido, you have such a way with words XD]
