Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne from SEED.

wow, something that's not a vector for once...

I used an illustration from the 2nd vol of the SEED novel as reference. On impulse, I changed Athrun to Kira ^^ [link]

I found sticks of charcoal and wanted to use them, so I started sketching. I usually use pencil to do a rough draft first, then shade with charcoal, but this time, I was too lazy, so I started sketching right away. Unfortunately, charcoal doesn't erase too well, so there are smudges here and there that aren't supposed to be there ^^;

I like how this turned out, except for Kira's hand, because I didn't use a reference for it, so it looks really odd... sorry...

Hyuu!! I wonder when Vol. 3 comes out. The novels are fun to read.

I drew a version of the reaction pic in the first volume. Just Kira's and Athrun's faces when they first see each other. I screwed up Athrun so I decided not to post it until I fixed it. >< Anyways, enough rambling.

Did real good with this one. I like it ^^

yeah, I can't wait for Vol 3. I think it's out already, I just can't find any in any bookstores close to me. I love these novels too, because there's so much extra stuff and scenes not in the anime (or manga). I esp love the extra Andy/Aisha scenes in vol 2 (because they're my second fave couple :aww:), and reading Mwu's thoughts :) Also, I really like the illustrations, I think they're done by RGB, who have some awesome GS/D drawings, esp chibis :aww:. But I really wanted to read vol 4, because I wanna know how they adapt the whole reaction to Strike blowing up and the JOSH-A arc (some of my fave eps and MM moments in the anime :aww:)

I'm just wondering if they'll bring Destiny manga into the bookstore near here. But yes, love getting into the minds of the characters like they do ni the novel.

Okay then ^^ I'll try to make it extra special then ^^
