Instead of a Haro, I carved my pumpkin into a Pokeball!
I used a pie pumpkin, so it's pretty small (and portable), about 9-10in diameter. I think this is less of a pumpkin carving and more of a pumpkin craft...
The hardest part was making the hinge; I ended up sewing it with wire, which was not much fun. I debated on whether to paint it or not, and decided to paint it to make it look more like a Pokeball. I used acrylic. I kept the handle because it's too hard to cut off, and it makes opening it easier.
The Pokemon I put inside are made from Model Magic, which I've made over the past few month. They're gym leader Candice's team, and I made them to go with my Candice cosplay. I'll post pics of them later.
Unfortunately it's already starting to rot...
