I got back a week ago from my honeymoon to Iceland, but I got sick right after getting back (it seems to happen when I go away on vacation ), and haven't felt like doing anything for the past week (cept catching up on anime)... I put my art projects on hold for several months before the wedding to work on wedding stuff, so now I have lots of ideas for projects, but no energy to do them >__<
I was worried that the weather may not cooperate, but I got lucky and it was sunny on my wedding day. It was really cool to see all the stuff I've made and picked out, put together for the reception. We hooked up the Wii U to a projector, and instead of dancing, played Mario Kart. We had a "First Race" instead of a first dance, and it worked out that at the end of the 4-race cup, we tied for first. My ring has a Haro on it (his ring has a triforce and 3 hearts). Trying to get used to wearing a ring, still not really used to it....
For our honeymoon, we rented a car and drove all around Iceland. There weren't many people on the roads, so it wasn't too difficult to drive (dirt/gravel roads suck though). There were lots and lots of sheep that roam free on the countryside. Saw lots of mountains and cliffs. Went on a whale-watching tour (on which we saw lots of adorable puffins, some humpbacks, dolphins, and a blue whale--which supposedly should have left that area by end of June, the tour guide was excited and taking photos too). Went walking on a glacier, where we had to put spike thingies on our shoes. Saw Eyjafjallajokull (from afar), and took a photo of it with my Squid Girl water bottle: twitter.com/maplerose_9/status…
After I got back, I cut my hair. It was getting tangled a lot in the wind and was just annoying to maintain. Took off about a foot or so in length. It still feels a little weird when I run my hand through it.

I picked up a lot of anime this season. My fave is probably Charlotte, followed by Rokka no Yuusha (I like Flamie, even if her outfit is... bleh. Bunny girl is kind of annoying though). Gatchaman Crowds is quite interesting with its social commentary (though I want to slap Tsubasa since.. 3 or 4 episodes ago). Akagami no Shirayuki-hime was a huge disappointment; I started watching it 'cause it looked to be the same vein as Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, and I've seen ppl compare it to Akatsuki no Yona, but man, the characters are so boring and Mary-Sue and cliche; I never thought I'd say this, but the main characters from Akagami no Shirayuki-hime make Kirito and Asuna from SAO look interesting! So I dropped it at ep 5 or so.
Most of the anime I'm watching are ending this season though. I took a look at Fall stuff and.... was pretty disappointed. I'll be watching the new Gundam series, aaaand I think that's it so far. I'll probably pick up stuff out of curiosity when the season starts, but does anyone have recommendations? If not, I guess it's a good chance to catch up on older stuff on my list.
Looking forward to Project Mirai DX (finally!), and Woolly World. Meanwhile, I've been playing through Last Window (finally, I think I bought the game some years ago), the sequel to Hotel Dusk. It's been so long since I've played Hotel Dusk that I remember very little of the plot, but I'm finding Last Window to be pretty interesting.
So the end of summer is approaching, how was everyone's summer?

Lol I didn’t write any journal entries in 2017....
Anyway, I got suckered into Fire Emblem Heroes this past year. I watched a lot of anime as normal. The winner of my anime of the year was Donten ni Warau; it’s not a 2017 show but I watched it this year. Best 2017 anime goes to Katsugeki Touken Ranbu.
2017 was a pretty good year for me.
Happy 2018!

Lol my last entry was in March, and I was wondering who I'd marry in Revelations. I married Ryoma, which started an obsession and I fell into Fire Emblem Fates Hell. According to my activity log, I've spent 1000+ hours in the game. I got Homebrew for my DS, and a Japanese audio patch, and I was trying to bond with everyone. I played through Birthright like a million times in order to get different classes for Ryoma and get all the skills for him. And then I started doing no-reset runs on Classic and giving my friends Death Bingo cards to fill out.
Anyway, I started a tumblr blog with my random Fates fangirlings. I also started another blog f
Happy Pi Day / White Day
It's also my 11th devART birthday :D
Haven't drawn anything in like a month, been buried in Fire Emblem Fates. I got the special edition, as well as the Fates New 3DS. I'm done Birthright, near the end of Conquest. Logged about 120h in total so far. Will probably spend just as much time in Revelations 'cause I want to grind out all (or most) the supports. I play FE as a shipping simulator more than a strategy game lol.
I married Jakob in Birthright (mostly 'cause he has a British accents, and says pretty corny things when bonding with him), and Odin in Conquest (partly 'cause Owain is my 2nd fave character from Awakening, after Lon'qu). I t

Happy New Year's Eve!!
Looking back at my journals and submissions, I didn't really upload much here this year XD But that doesn't mean I haven't been making stuff! While I did draw less, 2015 had been a crafty year. The first half of the year I put my drawing stuff on hold to make things for my wedding. The second half of the year I learned how to crochet and make amigurumi :D I also started posting my stuff more on twitter.
Through a double-elimination tournament, I determined that my top anime of 2015 was Akatsuki no Yona, followed by Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-, and Shirobako. My top game of 2015 was Pokemon Shuffle (whic

I keep seeing Rokka on crunchyroll and been thinking it looks interesting, should I watch it? (I decided Charlotte was not for me) I'm still trying to catch up on Drrr, need to rewatch season 1 again.
