So for the past couple of weeks, I've been playing Smash 4 3DS. I'm not very good at the game, but it's still a fun game, even though it's hand cramping. Before Smash came out I was playing Hyrule Warriors, which is also a lot of fun. Still occasionally playing Gundam Reborn, still haven't beaten the last mission yet, it's hard >__<

This weekend I'm going to the Miku Expo and concert in New York And in two weeks, I'm moving to my new place. I've packed a lot of my figures and plushies and gunpla already; the shelves look so empty.

So the new anime season started. I'm watching: Gundam Build Fighters Try, G no Reconguista, Log Horizon 2, Chaika 2, F/SN Unlimited Blade Works, Akatsuki no Yona, Cross Ange, and more Mushishi.

Build Fighters Try is pretty good as expected; I'm hoping to see Domon after seeing the opening lol. G-Reco is....odd, not sure where it's going, and reminds me a lot of Turn A. And the ending is just so happy it's weird. Read more about my thoughts on those shows if you care.

Log Horizon and Chaika are sequels from a couple seasons ago, and both are looking solid so far, wasting no time getting back to the plot, and the pacing is pretty good so far. I'm still watching Sword Art Online 2, but I much prefer Log Horizon to it, the characters are just so much better.

Unlimited <s>Budget Works</s> Blade Works looks good as well, you can tell a lot of money was thrown into it. It's a bit weird that each episode is double the length. Rin is my fave character in that series, so I'm looking forward to seeing more from her perspective and less of Shirou. 

Akatsuki no Yona I kinda picked up on a whim, and 2 episodes later, I'm quite intrigued by it. It wastes no time getting into the plot. From the opening it looks like a reverse harem (in a medieval Asian/Chinese setting), kinda reminds me of Fushigi Yuugi. But Yona looks to be more likeable than Miaka.

As for Cross Ange, I wanted to watch it because it has some of the Gundam SEED/Destiny staff working on it, despite the revealing outfits. After 2 episodes, despite the yuriness and fanservice, it's quite good. It's just kind of hard to recommend to people. I would recommend watching it, but if you're turned off by yuri and revealing outfits, just be warned that the yuri isn't implied. I think this show is becoming my most anticipated one this season. I look forward to making a death bingo for it

The mecha animation reminds me a lot of Gundam SEED/Destiny, and the opening even more so. In fact, I made a comparison blog post about it. Also, the enemies they're fighting are DRAGONs, which turns out to an acroynym.
