aww, isn't he
all grown-up? it took me a while to decide what colour to do the rose, red or yellow. I decided on yellow to match his hair. used ref. picture from both manga and anime. I drew his hair manga-style, but coloured in anime colours (school uniform is black instead of blue, looks better in black...)
I tried a new colouring style, instead of using all black for lines, I used corresponding colours. also I sort of airbrushed the hair highlights in opencanvas instead of the usual cell highlighting, and actually sort of shaded it. Got lazy with background, so took background of anime screencap and stuck it on
I seem to use blue a lot for the bg...

Yellow rose of friendship. Yes, that would be Momiji's flower, wouldn't it? Roses are my favorite flowers, but orange and yellow are the most hopeful colors in my eyes, and what little I remember of the language of flowers. He looks so cute, a bit like a cross between Tamaki and Hunny from Ouran. For a while, I actually thought Hunny WAS Momiji in high school because they looked and acted similar; plus, they're both associated with bunnies!
